Okay... so the owner is now IN restaurant most of the time. He's made the manager shape up, and he's actually polite enough now. They pay more attention to you and the quality of food seems a lot better now. No more hour waits to get food. It's been a night and day difference to never wanting to come back when the owner wasn't around, to actually being a decent dinner spot. He even came around and asked questions several times about food/atmosphere. Glad he's paying attention now!
The food is good, they were short staffed so it was a bit of a wait. That's not why I dropped a star, unlike some very rude people that don't want to understand the problem of being short staffed, my complaint was with the chefs choice sashimi. Generally with 12 pieces you would get 2 of 6 kinds of fish, or even 3 of 4 kinds. This was 4 of 3 kinds. I just rather have a little more variety. The Banana Island was really good and unique.
Madison was the best , she made our experience so much better , something was wrong and she fixed it right away with a smile !!
Haven't been here in years.... Met the owner ... nice guy... waitress is on top of it! Food good... I'll be back
We have always received great service & the food is excellent. We have tried different items on the menu when we go & it's all been top notch. Definitely recommend!
